Whining

Ugh, next year is going to SUCK

Next Fall I am taking 17 hours and they are ALMOST ALL FREE ELECTIVES, because my scheduling got screwed up. I need to take Complex Analysis, it is not an option, I have to take it, and I was also going to take Probability and Statistics as an upper-level math elective BUT NOOOO they had to be scheduled at the SAME FREAKING TIME, so if I can't find a prof to do a directed study with me, I'm going to have to take 3, 3! upper level math courses in the Spring (Abstract Algebra, Knot Theory, and Combinatorics) and that's not counting the one-hour seminar I'll have to take because Multivariable Calculus (ie Calc III) is a three-hour course at Dalton and a four-hour course here, and I'll have to make up that stupid extra hour if I want to fulfill my math requirement. It turns out I only need about 20 more hours for my requirements (12 math, 6 gen ed, 2 PE), but I need some 37 more to graduate (i think), hence a huge amount of free electives. Basically my schedule this coming fall is going to be freaking meaningless, but I imagine I'll be doing quite a bit of reading, for this is what I am taking:

MAT 417 Complex Analysis
MUS 215 Music Appreciation
REL 326 Seminar: Buddhist Philosophy
ART 284 Hand Building Clay
ENG 214 Masterpieces of World Literature
HPE 124 Golf
HPE 107 Bowling

VROOM

I have nothing truly interesting to tell you so here's a photo of me putting together a model of a Ducati 998s with a tiny screwdriver and uh some tweezers.
