AUGH

On last week's test on systems of differential equations, I apparently forgot how to solve for the eigenvalues when the characteristic equation is already factored.

In other words: I FORGOT HOW TO SOLVE THE QUADRATIC EQUATION 0=(r-4)(r+2i) FOR R. AFTER ALL, I'VE ONLY BEEN SOLVING THEM FOR THREE MILLION YEARS.

I'm so ashamed.

I understood the word "Augh" and not much else. But then, what else is there... really?

Why on earth would you be solving systems of diff eqs? Are you in engineering school or something?

Uh, I'm a math major, dude.

And why is my solving of systems of differential equations so unbelievable? Its a sophmore level course.

Did you even bother to glance at the preceding post?
