Admitting there is a correlation between the current stage of my menstrual cycle and whether or not I am in kind of a depressed mood is like admitting that I am sometimes wrong about stuff. It may be true, but I'm not going to admit it anytime soon.

I once read that over time the cycles of women living together tend to sync up.

That's just hot is what that is.

(I periodically bleed from eyes, but it has less to do with my ovaries and more to do with a really sexy brain tumor.)

Is what Latigo said true? That's a creepy "invasion of the body snatchers" type of thing righ tthere.

Actually boys, it is true. Or at least, mostly true. The problem I usually get is that I have a shorter cycle than most people (mine is about 24 days, everyone elses' tends to be about 28 days) and what usually happens to be is I get pulled ahead early or dropped behind...so mine usually comes anywhere between 21 and 31 days. So it's kind of a game I play with myself, "maybe today is the day!" I say. This month I got lucky on day 23.

Shouldn't the three of us be fighting crime or something?

Totally.

We'd make an unstoppable tag team trio.

I think we would...

Latigo with his rugged manliness, old-world charm, and heroic tendancies.

Paula with her feminine grace, cool head, and academic genius.

Trevor with his androgynous good-looks, cynical wisdom, and street-smarts.

We'd be unstoppable.
